Daniel Reck is an Assistant Professor of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2016. His interests are primarily in behavioral welfare economics and public economics. One strand of his recent research considers optimal policymaking for behavioral economics, and another strand focuses on tax evasion by wealthy Americans. He has conducted research on several other questions in applied microeconomics, including pension design, minimum wages, behavioral finance, and information search.
