About

The Experimental Economics Lab (EEL-UMD) is located at 4104 Tydings Hall (on the 4th floor) at the University of Maryland. The EEL-UMD was established in 2008 by the Department of Economics in an effort to provide researchers, faculty and PhD students with state of the art facilities to assist their studies in individual and group behavior in various economic environments. The lab currently hosts 16 subject workstations.

Undergraduate students at UMD can and are welcome to sign up for and participate in the experiments, where they can earn money by participating, and have firsthand experience in frontier economics research. No prior knowledge of economics is required to participate.
