Congratulations to Robert Kulick and Riley Wilson, both of whom have been awarded the Vernon E. Jordan Dissertation Fellowship by the Economic Club of Washington. Robert and Riley will both receive $10,000 for the upcoming academic year. The Economic Club of Washington Fellowships are awarded every year to students writing dissertations in business and economics at schools in the Washington D.C. area. Robert is working in industrial organization, studying the impact of mergers on prices and productivity under the supervision of Professors John Haltiwanger and Andrew Sweeting. Riley is working in public finance, studying the impact of the fracking boom on the U.S. labor market under the supervision of Professor Melissa Kearney.
