The undergraduate curriculum in economics has changed! Now students majoring in economics can choose between two tracks and earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science. The BA emphasizes breadth of exposure, whereas the BS emphasizes the techniques of economic analysis. Courses in the BA track enable students to interpret economic analysis applied to different issues and use their knowledge to inform decision-making in the realms of business, government policy, or non-profit organizations. Courses in the BS track help students develop the ability to produce economic analysis.
