Brian Heath Witzen

I am currently a fourth-year student studying public and labor economics. My research generally focuses on the economics of education, including such topics as: the effectiveness of financial aid programs, how individuals perceive and make choices based on accumulated student loan debt, the effect of information about financial aid on student enrollment and borrowing decisions, and the effects of career and technical education on students' postsecondary education choices and labor market outcomes. I am also currently a Research Fellow at the Maryland Longitudinal Data System (MLDS) Center.
