Assistant Professor Eunhee Lee joined the Department of Economics in Fall 2016. Professor Lee is a trade economist who specializes in building and quantifying trade models to answer various questions on the aggregate and distributional effects of globalization.
Her recent research focuses on the effect of trade liberalization on inequality in many countries around the world. She examines the domestic labor market and its response to trade liberalization by introducing worker-level heterogeneity into trade models. She holds a PhD, MPhil, and MA in Economics from Yale University and a BA in Economics with highest honors from Seoul National University.
