Degree Requirements

The Department offers an undergraduate curriculum that provides a firm grounding in economic theory and methodology along with a range of opportunities to explore various fields of study within the economics discipline. A Bachelor of Arts degree is comprised of a minimum of 120 credits that include a student's major requirements, CORE, and elective credits. Students are held to "benchmark" requirements after declaring ECON as their major in order to ensure timely completion of the degree.
