Biography

Mr. Singh began work with the University of Maryland at the Adele H. Stamp Student Union. While rising through the ranks at the Union, he was earning his bachelor's degree here at UMCP. After receiving his degree, Mr. Singh came to work for the Department of Economics as our IT Coordinator.

In addition to the usual day-to-day maintenance of departmental machines, systems and servers, Mr. Singh has been involved in a number of large projects. Since his arrival in the Department, Veer has overseen major system upgrades and migrations. He planned and installed all of the technical components of the Department's state-of-the-art experimental computer lab, EEL-UMD. Most recently, he managed the complete redesign of the Department's website that you are viewing now.

Mr. Singh is always available via e-mail for any computing questions and can also be found during normal office hours in 4115B Tydings Hall.
