Biography
Soohyung Lee joined the University of Maryland in 2008 after receiving her PhD from Stanford University. Her research interests broadly lie in labor economics and economic growth and development. Her current research includes investigating the reasons for marital sorting using data from a Korean dating company, and quantifying the extent to which increased educational attainment has contributed to the economic growth of China through facilitating labor reallocation across sectors. She teaches in the area of labor economics.
