Biography
Rafael Dix-Carneiro joined the department as an Assistant Professor in 2011 after completing his PhD at Princeton University. His research focuses on International Trade and Labor Economics. More specifically, Rafael has studied the impact of trade liberalization on the transitional dynamics of the labor market; export behavior following international shocks; and the relationship between industry-level skill premia and exports. He also has great interest in structural econometric modelling.
